Gandhi, Salinger and Arvind

This post is dedicated to Kejriwal of future. Because he is the one person who made the politics "cool" again, just like a lanky fellow did many a years ago.

To some, the words in the title of the post may seem unrelated due to insertion of Salinger. But it's the Salinger's work itself which gave me thoughts to write this post.

Recently I read a book "The Catcher in the rye" by famed writer J. D. Salinger. This book is a gem in the genre. After reading this book, I understand, now, that Gandhiji was killed by a person affected with "The catcher in the Rye Syndrome". The Rye in his case was old parochial view of communalism.
The Catcher's Hat

I was thinking about similarities between Gandhiji and Arvind, which in fact are a whole lot, when I was struck with the possibility. The problem with the great visionaries(which actually bring critical change in the system) is that if they demand and apply stricter form of their ideas, ideology, etc. which, sadly, in the catcher's point of view amounts to budging from their initial standings (which might be actually be narrower, considering the demand of the times and readiness of the people's minds to accept it), the catcher may realize his destructive thoughts.
In case of Arvind, it may not be communalism but something else like the promise of a changed and improved polity and India, etc. It, certainly, is a shot far-flung into the future. But I can't deny the possibility that this kind of things may happen after all he is calling in great changes and the temperament, zeal, and thought-action process he is showcasing, he has the ammo to reach the great heights.

The First Post

Though created at early hours of dawn, or better say late-late hours of night, I will try my best not to let this blog just a whim or a fancy full idea, but will ink my thoughts out here regularly.
